OCTOBER 7: Bob Burke helps celebrate our nation's 250th. He's founder of the Independence Trail, a three-mile walking trail showcasing Providence's rich history. Bob's also owner of the popular Pot au Feu Restaurant, an inductee of Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame, and a captivating storyteller.

NOVEMBER 4: In 1907 the steamship Larchmont sank in icy waters off Watch Hill after colliding with a three-masted schooner. Daniel F. Harrington, a long-time monthly columnist for the Providence Journal, thoroughly researched this maritime tragedy. His riveting presentation will cover the ship, its crew, and incredible stories of survival, panic, murder, and miracles.
